REBUS FONT is a special sort of dingbat font, containing pictures that can be combined to make rebuses like the ones to the left. A rebus, of course, is a puzzle that uses images (and a few letters when needed) as building blocks to make words and messages. The idea is as ancient as hieroglyphics, but my font was inspired by the old TV game show "Concentration" and the Milton-Bradley home version. Using two undated (60s?) editions of the game, I selected 100 high-frequency and useful images. If you liked "Concentration," check out this tribute site with interactive puzzles. |
Use it as any other dingbat font or to create your own rebuses. Mix and match with other dingbat fonts and fun text fonts as needed.
