BRIDGEFIELD was inspired by hand-lettered posters from the early 20th century. Gently rounded serifs give the quaint and friendly feel of home and family. I looked at Fred G. Cooper’s WWI-era posters for the US Food Administration, as well as his other work and other artists’ similar work of the period.
