REBUS FONT is a special sort of dingbat font, containing pictures that can be combined to make rebuses. A rebus, of course, is a puzzle that uses images (and a few letters when needed) as building blocks to make words and messages.
The idea is as ancient as hieroglyphics, but my font was inspired by the old TV game show "Concentration" and the Milton-Bradley home version. Using two undated (60s?) editions of the game, I selected 100 high-frequency and useful images and drew additional ones.
Use it as any other dingbat font or to create your own rebuses. Mix and match with other dingbat fonts and fun text fonts as needed.
This OpenType version of Rebus Font allows you to easily access any of the 130 images by simply typing its name. Easily accessed for use as clip art or to make custom rebus puzzles. In applications that support OpenType features, enable "discretionary ligatures." Rebus Font has now been combined with Don Semiformal, allowing you to seamlessly combine text and images.
